Half of the pier is sunken into the water. The shift of the tectonic plates collapsed most of the concert legs holding it up. Only the beginning and the end stand barely out of the reach of the water; the middle has collapsed in. Slippery with algae you need to watch your step, but the most dangerous things here lie beneath the water.
